“Hai già vinta la causa? The Scheming Baritone Unmasked”

  • Christ Church 46 Reading Road Henley-on-Thames, England, RG9 1AG United Kingdom (map)

“Hai già vinta la causa? The Scheming Baritone Unmasked” delves into the world of opera’s most cunning and charismatic baritone characters. Through music and commentary, this lecture recital explores the wit, power, and psychological complexity of the schemers, manipulators, and masters of intrigue who drive some of opera’s most dramatic moments, including arias from Le nozze di Figaro and Don Giovanni.

This performance offers the Henley audience a rare opportunity to hear live superb baritone Hector Bloggs at the very start of an exceptional career, following his acceptance onto the Munich Opera Young Artists Programme and his selection as one of Glyndebourne’s Jerwood Young Artists for 2026.
