It’s All Greek to Me

  • Holy Trinity Church Sloane Street London, England, SW1X 9BZ United Kingdom (map)

Join baritone Ross Cumming in an exploration of the drama, passion, and mythology of ancient Greece as told through the powerful and ever-changing world of opera - from the heartbreak of Orpheus to the fiery vengeance of Medea.

Ross Cumming's career is taking off and this is a perfect opportunity to hear him up close and personal. This summer he sang the lead role in "A Matter of misconduct" for Scottish Opera both in Glasgow and at Opera Holland Park. He comes to this recital a few days after finishing a contract at Wexford International Festival singing Don Esteban in Zemlinsky's Der  Zwerg. Described by  the Guardian as "Clarion voiced " and praised for his performance as Sid in Albert Herring, also at Scottish Opera.
